One of our own highly-trained partner nurses will attend to complete the collection process using the LifeCells Collection Kit

Private Hospitals and Cord Blood Banking

LifeCells work closely with our clients wherever they chose to give birth. If this is in a private maternity hospital our access to you and your baby’s cord blood and cord tissue operates in much the same way as with other birthing options. LifeCells will still send one of our own highly-trained partner nurses to complete the collection process using the LifeCells Collection Kit, operating under our own institutional licence from the Human Tissue Authority.

As with any other collection, we will liaise with your clinical team in advance of the due-date to confirm arrangements, and we will collect this information from you when you first contact us. When you next meet with you doctors it is a good idea to make them aware of your desire to collect your baby’s stem cells.
